How to Become a Nail Technician in Illinois

Illinois licenses nail technicians through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). The requirement is 350 clock hours of instruction in a nail technology curriculum, followed by the state's nail technology licensing exam. Full detail: Illinois's exact licensing requirements.
